The short version

The extension notices local interaction events, never conversation words. The website stores limited signup data only when you choose to join the waitlist.

Yekut never reads your conversations.

Prompt and response text is not inspected, collected, stored, or sent by the extension. Rhythm is derived from structural events such as a send or a completed response.

What the Yekut extension does

Yekut adds a small familiar to the corner of the ChatGPT web page. The familiar takes form and matures based on the rhythm of your activity on the page — for example, that you sent a message or that a response finished. Its entire state lives locally in your browser.

To do this, Yekut observes only the structure and events of the page (such as button clicks and when new response elements appear). It does not look at the words in your prompts or in the replies.

Collected versus not collected

The extension does not collect

  • Prompt, message, or response text.
  • Copied, selected, typed, or uploaded content.
  • Conversation titles or history.
  • Identity, account, or browsing history.

The extension stores locally

  • Familiar stage, form, growth points, and traits.
  • Number-only daily activity counts.
  • Small user settings and preferences.

The extension has no analytics, advertising, tracking, accounts, or external servers. It makes no network requests of any kind.

Local extension data

Familiar state, number-only daily tallies, and settings live in local extension storage on your device and are never synced to a server. Counts record that events occurred, not their content. Deleting local data from the Yekut panel, or uninstalling the extension, removes all of it.

This website and waitlist

yekut.com has no analytics, tracking, or cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the standard technical request for the font files.

If you join the early waitlist, the site sends your email address to Yekut's waitlist server. The server stores the normalized email address, signup time, signup source, consent version, browser locale, and the referring site's origin when one is available. It does not receive or store your prompts, conversations, page content, user agent, or a fingerprint.

A network address is used temporarily in server memory to limit abusive submission bursts. It is not written to the waitlist file. Server logs use a short one-way email digest rather than the raw address.

Deletion and requests

Extension data can be removed from the Yekut panel or by uninstalling the extension. To ask us to remove an email address from the waitlist, or to ask about stored signup data, contact hello@yekut.com from that address.
